The Dual Pack internal structure consists of two IGBT transistors and, together with a Soft/Fast Free-Wheeling diode, enables fast switching and proper performance in power circuits. Also, the presence of an insulated base relative to the terminals makes it easier to install this module on a heatsink or industrial cooling chassis.
